ARTHUR FLOWERS is the author of two novels, De Mojo Blues and Another Good Loving Blues, children’s book, Cleveland Lee’s Beale Street Band, memoir, Mojo Rising: Confessions of a 21st Century Conjureman and forthcoming graphic novel, I See The Promised Land. He is a recipient of NEA and NYSFA Fellowships in Fiction and Nonfiction and teaches MFA Fiction at Syracuse. He is a bluesbased performance artist and the webmaster of Rootsblog. He has been Executive Director of the Harlem Writers Guild, NYC, The Griot Shop, Memphis, and a founding member of New Ren Writers Guild and Pan African Literary Forum.
